The day at a glance
Open the app and the day's six times are on the first screen, with the next prayer marked. On your phone's Home Screen, widgets keep them in view, and on iPhone there are Lock Screen widgets and a Live Activity too.
Companion apps put the times on your wrist on Apple Watch and Wear OS.
How the times are worked out
The app calculates the times on your device from your location, using established calculation methods, with a setting for high latitudes where the sun barely sets. Your location is only ever sent to fetch your weather, your city name and your time zone.
On iPhone and iPad, each country gets its own default method, set up automatically. A method you choose in Settings overrides it, and a pen mark shows any prayer time you have changed by hand.
If your local timetable differs, you can choose another method in Settings.
Reminders that stay discreet
The app reminds you before each prayer and at the prayer time. The prayer-time alert can be a discreet tone or a short Takbir, and the earlier heads-up is always discreet.
What works offline
Prayer times, Qibla, the Quran's text, tafsir and azkar work without a connection. Weather always needs one, and Quran audio needs one unless you have downloaded it.
